Sharing copyrighted content without permission, Harassing, bullying, or threatening other members, Posting spam, malware, or malicious links, Impersonating others or creating fake accounts, Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the platform, Using automated tools to scrape or harvest data

2.3 Content Guidelines

All content posted must be respectful, relevant, and appropriate for a diverse literary community. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

3.1 Our Content

All content on our platform, including reading guides, articles, graphics, and designs, is owned by The Intercontinental Book Club or our licensors and protected by copyright laws.

3.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it on our platform. You represent that you have the rights to any content you post.

3.3 Book Reviews & Discussions

Book reviews and discussion posts become part of our community content and may be featured in promotional materials with attribution.

4.1 Data Collection

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices.

4.2 Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive emails about book selections, events, and club news. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

5.1 Subscription Fees

Paid memberships are charged monthly or annually in advance. Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.

5.3 Refund Policy

New Premium members have 30 days to request a full refund. After 30 days, all sales are final except in cases of technical issues preventing access.

6.1 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to maintenance or technical issues.

6.2 Third-Party Content

Our platform may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service.

6.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Intercontinental Book Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
